Jaap advises and litigates for companies, investors, and other market players in cross-border disputes where jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition, and enforcement play a central role. His strength lies in developing effective litigation strategies for disputes with a strong international character.
In addition to proceedings before Dutch district courts and courts of appeal, Jaap acts in arbitrations at leading national and international institutions, including the ICC, the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI), and UNUM (formerly TAMARA).
